They could do, if you have a sports direct nearby they have slazenger inners for 99p, I personally us GM inners, very comfy.
If your in bat for a long time you might want 2 pairs and change them if they sweat through, although that may look like your being a bit of a tool, but better to bat with dry gloves then orry what the other team things ey?

haha thank you very much for that i will have to invest in them i hate having soggy gloves they take like a week to dry up and sometimes longer :D

I find the same thing. But inners don't really help as it doesn't take long for the sweat to penetrate them.
Inners for me are more for a snug fitting glove. i.e. when the leather on the palm gets a bit older it stretches and the gloves don't fit as snug.
Yet to find a solution to stop sweaty palms :D

Inners do hlep with sweat as without them I sweat through gloves (noticable loss of grip) in 6 overs or so (on a hot day), with them they do sweat through but the palms don't get wet as quickly so I generally get 20 overs out of them and after that I change to a fresh set of inners and I'm all good to go.
I'm in QLD where it is very humid during summer, so that doesnt help me at all ahah :D

Put some antiperspirant deodorant on your hands. Never tried it but it might work :D

Where did you end up wandering to?

:o I think I prefer sweaty hands :D
But by the sounds of it I don't have as bad a problem as some others on here... >:(
