Where's it from mate?
-
Bought it via eBay from a guy off the forum. He originally purchased it from elsewhere...

Very very jealous! Thats gorgeous!
-
I was in morrants last week and that bat had the best balance of all the bats there! I bet that doesnt feel like a 2lb 9oz
-
no it doesn't. feels really light. its smaller then my blueroom but that's got loads of concaving. this hasn't any at all. but feels like its going to fly. do salix press their bats lightly??
-
light pressing is a myth - bats should be pressed properly and not over pressed.
Andrew Kember is as good at pressing willow as anyone.
-
Ive found my Hawk and Laver to be pressed more than my Warsop and BAS but they all fly off the middle albeit with different noises ...when I do middle it. There is a fine line but most skilled batmakers will get it right according to what they feel is right for the cleft.

Its just that my salix seems to be pressed better than my Laver (although i did opt for the knocking in service which may have been more of an additional press then knocking in). The Laver was very hard to start with however its come good :D
Really looking forward to using this in the nets over the weekend but with 2 games left (due to a book holiday) its more likely that its going to be used in the indoor nets over the winter ready for next season :D
