Well i took the gamble and ordered the CCX700 from JJB for 109.99. It came this morning. Im pretty impressed with it. the middle is fairly long on it and initial response from the mallet is good. It weighs 2lb 9 1/4oz.

Ordered it late wednesday night.
It still amazes me just how many different bat shapes there are.
It is skinny, i have a slazenger with a simular toe.

One of my team mates has the same model bat as that and it is a beautiful bat indeed. The ball flies off the middle.
That one looks like a very nice bat and a good pick up.

Was putting it on a wet concrete floor a wise idea?

Ah it was on there for less than 2 minutes. Then made sure I dried it off well. All the other pics were of it hanging from a washing line.
Pick up does feel good. Might get to use it last game of the season.

Looks like a very nice blade pinsock, especially for the money. One of the players at our club has the CCX200 version and the ball pings like a beauty.
Hope it plays as well as it looks!
