Sourced a pair of these of a mate who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows someone. Anyway after four long months, here they are. I don't really know why I bought them, I just liked the look of them. That brings the dilemma of when to wear them. Fielding or batting?

Dya not think i'll get some serious stick batting?

You'll get stick whether you wear those batting, in the field, or in the changing room!
Maybe even from stray passer-by's walking their dogs! ;)

What does it matter, just focus on your game, if they are the most comfortable then wear them... if you get stick, thats a good thing, and it only takes 1 or 2 shots and most people just tend to shut up!

They do look good though. Just massively ott!!!

I'm not a massive fan of traditional cricket wear however I personally believe cricket shoes should be mainly white. I don't expect the entire thing to be white but looking at these ones, there is almost no white on them at all...
Surely if you are going to use them you should use them for both fielding and batting? I don't understand people who change shoes for different parts of the game. I prefer to have one pair as I find it easier to play in just one pair rather than having to adapt to the different feel that you get with different shoes.

Amen to that!

They're pretty funky but you would only likely get one or two initial comments when being welcomed to the batting crease - and that's as they are an easy target to pick on!!! Then it would probably be ignored once you start batting, so no worries! 8)
I changed my shoes after batting yesterday, but only cos I had their opening fast bowler york me on my back foot (big toe!!) - luckily not in line but batted with a bit of a limp for the rest of the time! >:(
The other shoes I used after were more snug and felt better on the toe so there was good reason for it! A trip to A&E will br taken this morning as it is either badly bruised or worse! Blooming bowlers!! :(

Wear them while batting to distract the fielders
