Came across this bloke while looking at the cricket Australia website, he plays for South Africa and look at his last 3 scores for the SA emerging players....WOAH!!!
http://www.espncricinfo.com/southafrica/content/player/269280.html
-
He also took a nice catch in the SA domestic T-20 comp

-
None of them scores count towards his stats as they were not first class approved games
-
Forget the scores then - check out that catch!!!
-
Unbelievable catch
-
that is a pretty special catch. Not the easiest thing to judge without the dive let alone leaping that far.

Hahah, only a matter of time

Nah, no poaching going on. They choose to play for England as it's the number one team in the world... ;)

More like they chose England as they were struggling at the time and it was much easier to make the England team rather than their own national team, ahah ;)

Typical though isn't it. Symonds chose to play for Australia for similar reasons ;)
-
Symonds moved over here when he was 2 months old, ahah.
Atm it seems as if those SA players who chose to play for England made the right move.
-
Nah I have no problem with any of the SA players playing for England.. Makes them a more competitive side... What would they do without those players as we all know they don't have enough talented players to fill there spots...hahaha...
Just kidding guys
-
Hang time!
-
This is a also a great catch, was on the side of the above video so couldn't resist!

What points the cut off then?
-
there is no cut off, you can play on residential grounds if you live in the UK for 4 years. Alternatively if you have a UK passport through birth, a parent or grandparent, you qualify.
-
Kieswetter had a British mum but still had to qualify, there was a date where he had to wait until before he could play for the full England team, he made his debut a couple of days later
-
I think their may be a 2 year qualification period for the parent passport qualification - as Trott (Dad) and KP (mum) had the same as CK.

Isn't that 4 year rule applicable under the ICC worldwide?

I know that, i just meant at what point is Langers cut off ;)
-
Well if you play U19's for one country then decide to play for another one, I find that a bit strange
-
I think I qualify for Scotland + England (Grandmother on mums side) and also the Netherlands (Grandmother on dads side), lol

Or live in any Caribbean country for 4 years and you'd even qualify for the West Indies...

Good job you haven't played for the U-19's then ;)
