Title: Bat cracked for a while - best course of action
Post by: Fetchthatone on September 09, 2011, 02:47:57 AM
Hi there,

Back in July my Warsop platinum got a fairly substantial crack in the toe. It has had the same crack before and warsop had to fix  it, but it rebroke in the same area. I had warranty up until the 10th of August but just never got round to sending it off as I had a friends bat I could use. What is the best course of action now to get the bat well repaired for as low a cost possible?

Many thanks

maybe worth going back to warsop and asking them. if you dont ask you dont get. its the risk with any repair that it can go again. do you have any pics of the crack so we get a better idea of whats going on? I may not be able to offer much advice on the repair, particularly if its a bad one  but im sure there are plenty of guys on here that would be able to advise on it.

Seems Warsop bats cracking at the toe is quite common. Personally I would get Warsop to fix it.

Warsop bats cracking is a problem. One of my mates has had to have his repaired and replaced multiple times.

Numerous players at my club including myself had Warsops and think every single one ended up crack at the toe. After that everyone except myself and one other player stopped using them.
