Title: Cost of a GM Refurb
Post by: Cossie on September 28, 2011, 04:56:38 PM: With the end of season arriving, I'm thinking of sending my Flare LE off for a light refurb and relabel.

I rang Unicorn, they said send it in and they will quote me accordingly.

Just wondered if anyone has had something similar completed recently and how much they were charged?

Any info would be a great help

I was looking at getting. My icon refurbed and they said 40 with return postage .
So about 50 if you put postage in from your end

Post by: craigwm on September 28, 2011, 05:09:57 PM: Just to back shaqharris point up, last time I emailed the it was £40 including: repairs; refurb; new stickers and return postage. I'm not sure if this includes the price of a new scuff sheet, grip(s) and toe guard. Hope this helps.

I've just spoken to a mate and he's sent one off just to be re-labelled and they quoted him £25 excluding postage just to apply labels and no refurb. Sounds a bit steep comparing it to a full refurb.

The price reflects the fact it is virtually impossible to get genuine GM stickers any other way. When you consider most well known brand stickers fetch around £25 anyway, it isn't that bad.

That said, if you want GM stickers applied to a GM bat, you may as well pay a bit more and get the refurb done too.

Had to be icon again they will only put new stickers on if they do not have the ones to replace them anymore or so i was told , however they were going to put halo stickers on a pursuit I had
