I'd like to know how this is done as well. I've got a GM Flare 505 which has been bleached but it's a belter of a bat. The only downside is that when I've applied some linseed oil it's gone all streaky - presumably because the willow has been bleached?

If you want to bleach a bat, use carpet stain removal spray.

It works like a treat.
