what kinda weight is that?
-
he says in the post, 3.6
-
You would have to be big to use that!
-
keeper do you mean massive...:)
Even Mat Hayden and likes would struggle to use this....
-
probably serves dual perpose - use as a bat in the match and as a eye-in bat in the nets ;)
-
If you managed to hit the ball with this bat it would never come back!! Thats is one massive bat, very impressive!
-
Hell4leather... how much do you want for this bat?
-
i think lance klusener might have given this bat a go.
-
what is the point in all these massive bats? they weigh loads too, i could understand if it was a 2.9 that had 50mm edges, but this weighs 3.6, pointless
-
, i could understand if it was a 2.9 that had 50mm edges,
I couldn't
-
I really dont see why people think this is bad. Some people like huge/heavy bats, and this bat is an excellent piece of willow. With 50mm edges, and it being 1 piece of willow. Even if you dont like this sort of bat, i dont understand how you could say its bad.... its amazing that you can make a cricket bat with these specs!!
-
the bat was made as a show bat,not to any specs .was just playing around with some willow and this is what i come up with, picks up quite well for the weight.... it is not for sale at the moment

Heavy bats are a double edged sword, the extra power is seductive but you have to accept a double hernia is a possibility.
If it goes on sale, I would be interested!
-
Matt, the willow looks really nice - tight grain and heartwood on the outside edge (for me anyway) - if you took weight off to nearer 2.10 could you still have a bat with a really decent size profile?
-
i would of thought you could still get a decent size taking weight off ,not sure if it would have 50mm edges
-
i am now putting this bat up for sale , i will only sell it if there is a serious offer,pm me if intrested
-
PM'd you.
-
no email mate?

Hopefully gone this time
