Title: Gabba Cricket Bats
Post by: Number4 on October 09, 2011, 11:06:06 AM: Just been watching Victoria Bushrangers v Queensland Bulls in the national one day cup (50 overs) and notice Ryan Broad using one of these bats so I jumped onto their website to check them out and noticed something interesting..

Here is the link... Tell me if this bat is Legal or not???

I can't see them giving a performance increase like the kook graphite back did as they do not cover enough of the bat

Post by: Ayrtek Cricket on October 09, 2011, 11:15:15 AM: graphite is much cheaper than carbon fibre and used in tennis rackets etc if carbon fibre was used it would drastically improve performance...or at least thats what the F1 boys who make our shells said when we discussed it!

I'm not too sure about that roco... there were 2 guys on the inventors show over here and they invented a small oval shaped disc that attached to the back of the bat were the sweet spot is and it did improve performance

Carbon Fibre strip not very expensive to do something like that really anyway
