Right I've ordered some plain navy club ties and I'm getting a gold club logo embroidered onto them. Big problem is not being a fashion expert I have no idea whether to put it near the knot, halfway down or towards the bottom (near the v).
Any fashion gratefully received!

Halfway down would be my recommendation
-
Near the V looks profession in my opinion.
-
The last couple of ties I've had with logos had them on the bottom, though they are stripy ties - not sure how that would look on a plain tie
Last plain tie I had with a logo was school - that had the logo in the middle.
-
My 6th form ties had our crest down near the bottom, as do our Uni CC ones. It looks much better than further up if you ask me!

Near the V looks profession in my opinion.
also more likely to work for your younger members - there seems to be a trend for wearing them very short indeed.

none of us are below 30 I think, so short ties aren't going to happen :D

I'm thinking on a plain tie the logo will get lost if it's near the bottom, here's one I looked at earlier (I know it's stripes):-
