First post here so hi all!
Like you all based in the uk i'm suffering from cricket withdrawal! So to help tide me through I'm updating most of my gear. Came a cross these beauties on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Puma-Iridium-6000-FXT-cricket-batting-pads-Brand-New-Mens-Right-Hand-MRH-/250914584283?pt=UK_Protective_Equipment&hash=item3a6bacb6db#ht_732wt_922
Has anyone used these? They seem like a real bargain, are supposed to mega light and look pretty awesome :-)

Welcome to the forum :)
I never have and never will pay that much for pads as I think there are far better bargains out there.
If you are interested in lightweight pads check out this thread

Welcome to forum mate!
I have used those pads and also have them.
Not exactly sure what you wish to know but just shoot as many questions you wish to and I will answer them.

very nice pads but if you are five feet nine inches tall or under they might look a little big on you as a mate of mote bought them of the internet who was five feet nine inches tall and they looked too big on him. but they were nice pads well made and gave the storm trooper look!!!!

I have these pads as well, nice light and comfy. I would hang fire on buying some at the mo as you should be able to get them cheaper. I got mine for around £56 last year from lorimers auction on ebay which they have in nov-dec.
And yes you do look like a storm trooper.
