Right gents. I've had to come to terms with the fact that, at 34 bats, I am starting to get too far into Pete Hosk territory.
I now need to get rid of about a third, so, I have decided that Cricket 4 Change will be the beneficiary of the below collection of bats, some in better nick than others. They've all been tapped up, tried and tested to some degree, and although they all work, I think they will do well in the hands of youngsters who can really use them properly.
These, plus an old Steel Sprung GN are heading to the charity on Friday morning and will be helping young people to get to grips with cricket.

What's wrong with the SAF?

Nothing particularly wrong with it (or any of the others - the Turbo and Ultimate both still have pretty damn impressive middles), it's just not as good as some of the other bats that I have, so I thought I'd give it to somewhere where I know it will get used.

Good man, very noble of you!

Good stuff!

please hold off giving away the maestro! :o

In light of requests I have received, if there are any of these items that people decide that they want, please PM me. I will pass them on in a not for profit fashion (i.e. a donation will be required to Cricket 4 Change, please make a suggestion, and you will need to bung me postage).

Good Charity choice, I have worked with and continue to work with Cricket4Change and they are the only cricket charity that actually helps people both young and old get more out of life through cricket. They work with everyone from the blind to helping gang members break the cycle of violence that they live within. Well done fella a very noble gesture!!!!

One of my mates spends a large amount of time working for them and has been heavily involved with their Afghan refugee kids programme. Seemed like a sensible place for them to go.

This is a very nice thing your doing
Great work

Right then. I've had a couple of questions on the SAF. The donation to the charity required is £55 if you want it. This is also the last chance for any of the others. PM me if you want them, or they go off to get used tomorrow.

Are you sending all the bats off via post Tim..?
I have a lot of spare kit I should send off, just wondering if it's sent by post or handed in somewehere...
If that makes sense haha! :)

I'm driving over, but they will arrange to collect from you.

Ahh right fantastic. Couple of pairs of pads to give them definitely :)

Just been clearing out the school PE cupboard, and we have loads of kit surplus to requirements. Do any of you worldly people know if there are any cricket charities in the South West, where this kit could go. Seems a shame to bin it, as it's really quite good, but no school needs 15 pairs of buckle up pads lol.
Cheers fellas
Nick
