Title: Protective sunglasses?
Post by: The_Bird on October 28, 2011, 04:42:06 PM
Hi guys I have recently undergone lazer treatment on my eyes and was wondering if anyone has any ideas of the best type of protective sunglasses available.

I would also be grateful if anyone has any experience of the surgery regarding any sport not just cricket

Cheers

Depends what brand your looking at but Oakleys best lenses are the Polarized version they offer, make sure you buy from a reputable dealer though as there are lots of fakes around.

Adidas eyewear also very good too from what I hear and heard at the Lords Trade show and their stand.

I wont plug the ones iv got for sale dont worry lol

I like the evil eyes but not sure if they provided a high level of protection or just look good lol I think I would look to buy new anyway I've been burnt by eBay a few times lol

My dad had his eyes lazered recently and he just used cheap sunglasses as my Oakleys were 'all too sporty' for his liking.

Depends on how much you're willing to spend really, anything to dim the light as well as keep debris out of your eyes.

I think i will sacrifice price for protection as you only get one set of eyes ( in this era anyway ) I like the jawbones do they come with the polarized lenses, apologies but I'm a Oakley virgin lol

Thanks guys the polarized jawbones are still quite reasonable compared to the RRP on the official Oakley website, I've got a few months before the seasons starts so I'll keep on the lookout for any deals and you never know some might crop up on here

They should be good.I have read  fair reviews about them in the all out cricket magazine.Quite established brand venturing into cricket.
