Title: Bowling Machine Hire
Post by: Marcussjd9 on February 16, 2009, 05:13:06 PM
Any idea's where I can find a bowling machine for my club to hire.
As close to Plymouth as possible?
I had a quick glance on the Somerset CC website and there didn't seem to be anything on it.
Any information would be welcome :D

Do you have a Level Two qualified coach? I think you need one before you can hire a bowling machine.

Yeah we do, Or at least I think we do.
I don't think we'd mind going somewhere to use one.
Like I know you can hire them out at universities etc.
Just wondering if anybody could help me find somewhere close to Plymouth that offers this.

we're really lucky at our club, as next door to our clubhouse is a sports centre, and some of the people who work in the sports centre play for our club, and let us use the machine for free.

Sounds like a good plan - better get Oliver practicing how to feed a bowling machine quick as I'm not sure my contract covers that type of work.

My club has 2 bowling machines - hypothetically how much would you be willing to pay to hire one and someone to man it?

Just outta interest to see if it was a venture my club could take to recoup some of the money it paid out on them
