As posited elsewhere...
Mine was a Powerspot Tufcoat!
-
Hunts county green one!
Massive crack and dent on the edge in my first net, dad was fuming and i could of cried!
First Full size bat was a lovely SS Orange my dad picked up for me on his travels in India, set a rather high precedent for other bats and at only £40 when it was converted from rupees who can go wrong!
-
BDM Master Blaster.
It seemed to have a slightly shorter blade was an absolute gun! ended up buying a few more since
-
talking junior or first adult bat?
-
Post both, you know you want to!
-
Open championship autograph size 4 was first ever.
Lara 375 was first SH
-
GM Diamond. Wasn't overly impressed. Second was a Lords Taverner GN, from the club kit bag, which I stripped the fibreglass off. Still one of the best bats I have ever had.
-
One of the below, a gray nics sabre assasin in the finest of kashmir willow!
Moved onto a EW GN Longbow fairly soon

My first junior was a Slazenger V100 and my first adult was a Millichamo and Hall S6/original

One hell of a first adult bat!
-
Woodworm Torch Size 4 - awesome bat (middle was about 2in from toe)
-
One hell of a first adult bat!
Bargain as well, was a grade 1 made for an overseas pro in the mix shape, £100 brand new and then £5 to M&H for some stickers
-
first adult bat was a DF Magnum. Went like a train. My father borrowed it and while batting pushed a forward defensive into the off side, only to see it race for 4!. I think the handle went in the end.
-
GM Cannon 707 or GN Sabre I can't remember
-
First junior bat was a DF 405 and then my first adult bat was a Kookaburra Ridgeback
-
size 5 v500 test
i loved it! was a beast
-
It was a Pakistani bat sent by my Grand Parents but then I bought Gray Nicolls Powerbow 3 Star as I didn't like that Pakistani bat much.
-
First bat was a Kookaburra, not sure of the model but had the white stickers with the green lines across them. First Adult bat was a CA white gold which was awesome, still just about in one piece but pretty dead now.
-
I had a size 3 and a size 4 df Ian botham attack then a size 6 and a harrow gm maestro. my first full size bat was a hunts county caerulex. marvellous.
-
Slazenger v100 select
-
First ever bat was GM Purist 606 which I have in my room with the rest of my bats, had 14 straight grains and a knot just below the stickers. First adult bat was a Woodworm Hard Drive Gold.
-
Gunn and Moore Scorer Size 5. Loved it.
First adult bat was a Slazenger v800 select for my first season in adult cricket aged 14. I had matching v800 pads and gloves and i thought i was the dogs b*llocks.
I made 7 runs in my first 5 innings. 4 of which were an inside edge through fine leg.
-
First bat was a Slazenger V600, first adult bat was a Gray Nicolls Viper Venom
-
Viper Venom was my second and third bat! :D
-
Junior bat: GM Hustler Select. Piece of Kashmir, dont remember too much how it was as a bat, was tiny and didnt weigh much.
Senior bat: Woodworm Globe Premier. Hit many a 6, has gone nicely but (as seems the case with most woodworms) many cracks on the inside edge, and know one crack down the middle I'm not sure what to do with.
-
Slazenger V100 panther :)
-
Slazenger v12 panther :D
-
Then got a v100 extreme from a neighbour who worked for slazenger off the seconds shelf for £28.00 was a beast of a bat
-
First a a Sondico something or other then a G&M harrow covered in Polyarmour, Adult a v12 too heavy when i was 14 and still too heavy 30 years on
-
Solitaire was my first bat in May 2010
-
GM Maestro when I was 8 or 9 which would have been 91 or 92.
-
i had the gm maxi 909 and it was a gun
-
I only took up cricket 6 or 7 years ago. So my first couple of bats were a kookaburra Belta, a Gray Nicolls Powerbow 5* and then a beast 3lb Newbury Uzi SPS.
The Kook was ok. But the Powerbow and Uzi were both excellent!! 8)
-
Slazenger v100 I think from memory in a harrow
-
GN scoop
-
GN Twin Scoop was my first bat, and my first adult bat was a Slaz V12...
-
Kookaburra Bubble was my first junior sized bat, followed by a GN Excalibur. I absolutely loved that GN! Felt like a young Mike Atherton!
-
GN Powerspot Tuffcoat followed by an SS Turbo I kept for at least 5 seasons and wish I still had as it was a stunning bat. The Powerspot was complete rubbish....
-
Some sort of Duncan Fearnley back in about 88 in harrow, first adult bat was a slazenger v100 five star got for me by one of our club pro's - still probably the best bat I've ever had.
-
The Powerspot was complete rubbish....
Yup, they were weren't they!

We all sometimes joke about having a bat that plays like it's a plank but in this case I actually think a plank might have been more responsive! For the life of me I am still not sure whether I ever hit a single ball off the middle, you just couldn't tell.... :D

Sounds very like the Scoop 2000 I stuck pictures of up six months ago.
-
Phoenix Platinum size harrow, only about 4 years ago now!
-
Duncan Fearnley Magnum
-
Stuart Surridge - the model that wasn't a Jumbo or Turbo. Only cost £50 but this was 1990, nowt special. Upgraded to a lovely V100 5* in the McGirk Sports sale two years later with the proceeds of four weeks work potato picking - now that was a lovely bat, just couldn't bear to use it at first!
-
My first bat was an Gunn and Moore Maestro. No idea on the weight, it had a lovely pick up and a cracking middle though
-
mine was a hunts county ultimate destroyer. was probably grade 4 at best but god did it fly. stupidly lent it to a friend who went to play a back foot shot and hit the metal spring back stumps. in his defence he middle the hell outta the stumps and broke them. unfortunately he also put a massive dent/ whole in the middle of the bat. Made a good beach cricket bat tho
