Is it possible to use Tennis balls with BOLA bowling machine balls? i know its possible with the JUGS bowling machine becuase you can adjust the wheels to have a smaller gap to compensate for the size of the tennis balls. Is there a similar way to do this on the BOLA? or somewhere where they sell cricket ball sized tennis balls. I want to do this so i can better my back foot play and improve me reactions.
Thanks Aman

The problem with tennis ball's is you can crank it up quick and they still come out really, really slow. So you spend forever waiting
-
yeah, because the wheels are to far apart to get any actuall grip on the ball. i was asking if there is a way to adjust them safley like on the JUGS ones
-
The ones ive seen have been factory perpared, i dont think you can adjust somthing on a standard build, pro or club.
Also, it rips the balls to bits, also make sure your grill is closer to your peak than normal as a tennis ball will slip though easy.

alright thanks for the advice. is there any cricket ball sized balls that are similar to tennis balls?
-
just use normal balls lol
i know it takes confidance to pull a short ball but honesltly just get bodyline at 60mph and work ur way up
-
but im scared haha. guess ill have to man up then
-
If you need to, start at 55mph (International Spinner speed) so that you are looking at long hops, then work up in 5mph increments from there, 12 balls at a time. Should be fine.

will do, thanks for the advice guys

Get an Ayrtek and you've got nothing to worry about!

Bowling machine training technique I've used before is to start at a slow speed, when you middle a ball put it up 1/2mph, when you get out lower it 1/2mph inbetween keep playing shots and improving on them.
you'll get comfortable at a certain speed, then the more time you put in, the more you will adjust to the speed increments.
