Does anyone know if there are any toe shield type things that you can buy to slot into boots. I have some asics strike rates which are great but as I'm a pretty crap batsman I have a habit of getting hit on the toes where there is no protection. Happened to me loads as a kid and once last season, as a result I have some pretty mangled toenails and I'd rather have a bit of protection for the next time.
If there isn't anything like this does anyone have any recommendations for boots with built in toe protection.
Cheers

I mooted this as a new product idea, but nobody seemed to think it was a good idea.
Nike Tennis shoes seem to have a re-inforced toe protector in them (not sure why???) - you could look at getting a pair spiked up

For serving or sliding - a fair few players drag their feet when serving or slide into shots.

My sister suffered a broken toe when batting, so we fitted one of these to her batting spikes. Seems to fit nicely and offer a bit more protection.
