So, this is my second time of typing this out, I was linking the last picture and the computer crashed. Then my laptop wouldn't work, so reverted back to the iPad, hoping that one of the computer will be able to upload the decent pictures for me!
Bats
Match Bat - Ayrtek Elite
Spare Bats - Bulldog Basher, D&P Newbery Cleft, Talisman Storm (away for repair)
Specs
Ayrtek - £200, 2lbs 9oz, 30mm edges, Grade 1, 8 even straight grains, little bit of heartwood, concaved mid/low middle
Bulldog - £48, 2lbs 10oz, 26mm edges, Grade 2, 7 fairly straight grains, some blemishes, no concaving mid/low middle

Talisman - £100, 2lbs 10oz, 36mm edges, Grade 1, 13 straight grains, some heartwood, no concaving mid/low middle
Performance
Ayrtek - Not fully played in yet, scored me 151 runs in 7 innings at the back end of last year. Very good middle and great pick up.
Bulldog - Not knocked in, goes well off the mallet and has a good pick up.
D&P - Not knocked in, has a good pick up and is responsive off the mallet.
Talisman - Fully knocked and played in, scored me 508 league runs in 24 innings. Great pick up and superb middle

There we go guys, all upload for you!

ASide from the talisman, which do you prefer?
-
100 for the tailisman sounds cheap.
How did you get that?
-
Would be good to see the actual comparison on all the performances.
The middle looks very high on the D&P

Would have to be the Ayrtek as its the only other I've used.

Love the look of the Ayrtek and the willow of both that and the D&P. Not a fan of the profile of the D&P though - just doesn't look right to me.

couldn't agree more - sure it plays great but profile looks awful!

I'm not sure whether it is a Newbery shape, it was a Newbery Cleft and I think it has been made by TK

strikes me that the middle is different for each bat. Bulldog lowest, Ayrtek mid, DP high. No bad thing in my book as the wicket or bowling attack may warrant a different bat. However, I imagine each one will require a bit of getting use to if you were to swap them around.
