Post by: 123* on November 28, 2011, 02:17:13 PM
Haven't seen this posted on the forum so here it is, the 2012 adidas stuff, must admit love the look of the top of the range pads but not much else, although think its a big step up from last years gear!

I like the look of the top of the range pads and gloves, and the adipower gloves as well.
The bat stickers look horrible IMO

Wow. Very overpriced. £102 for the top of the range pads and they look very ordinary. Although the softs are vastly improved.

They're only 82 on prodirect cricket! :)

Fair enough. I have never spent over £60 for a pair of pads and I've never had any problems. I still have my Kook Ice Sub Zero ones which are fantastic. I think I would only spend that price on the Newbery ones, IMO these Adidas ones look poor quality, I mean they have definitely improved the design from last year, but I still think these are very basic for a TOTR pad!

No pittards on top spec gloves by the look of it...
If that is a key thing for you when shelling out top dollar for 'TOTR' softs.

I think they look a bit like the pads you would see on an EA Cricket game as the basic pad.
