younus khan has finished day 4 on 306* in the test against sri lanka. do you reckon he will break lara's all time test record of 400* on the final day?
i think he will if he survives the first 1/2 hour.

Hopefully, he is my favourite player as well
But then he might not have enough partners
Cause all the Pakistanis love slogging
Especially the tailenders
-
There's nothing else to play for in the game, so I think he will.
-
yh i think and hope he gets it
-
Hope he doesn't break it but if he does it'll have been a great effort.
-
I think he'll go for it and hopes he gets it.
He was annoyed at the pitch and the PCB for providing such a pitch when he asked for something "lively".
At least this way he'll get something out of the game :p

Hoping against hope that he fails. Lara deserves the record for his wonderful batting over the years.
-
Jeet, thats a pointless comment. Its not about who deserves it, its about who has worked hard at their batting! Younis is a tremendous batsman, not always like him, but a good batsman none the less, and i hope he does break the record. It would be a phenomenal feat, and would be brilliant to see the record broken (no matter how much I think Lara is one of the best batsman of the last 40 years!)

Sorry hit4six but I disagree, at the time Lara scored 400, he was facing one of the best attacks in the world, and the Windies where hardly any match for England in that series. The current Sri Lankan attack is hardly world class, Murali and Mendis will tear any team apart on a square turner, but Vaas is over the hill and Fernando is a wasted talent. The only thing common between Lara's 400 and Younis's 306*, is the road ARG and Karachi produced.

Anyway Younis didnt do it so it someone elses turn to try and break it.
