Well as the batsmen of the forum have had their little discussion, I thought I'd get one started for the glovemen.
I'm currently using an old, battered pair of GN Xiphos pads which were handed down to our 1st team keeper by Glamorgan skipper Mark Wallace. Our keeper has a habit of making sliding stops while wearing pads and eventually snapped the buckle on one of them - I managed to get a replacement strap from GN and repaired them.
They're very light (I'll weigh them when I get home from work) but also very soft and quite flimsy. The knee roll flaps about a little bit and they sort of remind me of that packing foam you wrap round water pipes!
Weigh your pads, chaps! 8)

individual or both????
KD Sports Blaze Players
Individual:400 grams
Both: 900 grams
Getting the 2012 adidas pro keeping pads for next season, i hope they are good! :D

Ummm... if individually they are 400g, then surely they're 800g as a pair????
