Hello,
My name is Robert Sheppard and I am currently doing research for my dissertation, which is part of the Sport Management Course I am taking at University.
I am new to this forum so firstly, I want to apologize for this random request, but I need some information on your club regarding member numbers. I would be extremely grateful if you could provide me with the information below;
1. Name of Club:
2. County:
3. Number of Senior members (16 yrs and over):
4. Number of Junior members (16 yrs and under):
Also I would be extremely grateful if you could fill in a survey (link below)and also forward the link below onto all the members in your club, and any other cricketing friends that you know. This is a link to a survey that will take 2 minutes to fill in.

Many thanks in advance, and I am extremely grateful for your help as this data will form the basis of my research project.
Kind regards,

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association (GMCA) on Sundays. Division 1 now (not sure how :D) have got promoted twice in last 2 seasons, although this seasons was due to the GMCA going from 5 leagues to 4, who/where do you play.
Also, I now live in London so wont play many games for them next year, still going to travel back home for 5 or 6 games.

I'm up a bit north of Barrowby I think, between Lincoln and Sleaford. Not sure about club side for the season, Blankney or Owmby I reckon!

Shep, it might be worth sharing a bit more on this forum about the project, which is to understand the size and spending power of the UK cricket market.
my view is that you should phone up each of the club liaison officers for each of the counties as they should be able to tell you the approximate number of players at each club in their jurisdiction.
as for their subsequent spending, well I'd be willing to bet that that is dependent on a factor of regional spending power and popularity of the game in the area.
I play in surrey, we have about 40 playing members and over 200 colts

Thanks for the info so far, it is much appreciated - but still need more, hence the unashamed plug of the survey on the following link....

Also a little bit more info on my study. I am trying to find out the size of the cricket market in the UK, region by region if I get enough info.
Thanks again for your help!
