I had azhar mahmood visit me last week to get some bats for his stint in nz , He bought me 3 bats back i had made for him in the last season ,anyway they will only sit in the workshop so i thought i would offer them to the loverly forum folk ....
The first bat is unused (on the left) 2.10 1/2 oval handle 2 chevron grips, clear face , £275 posted
The second is a little more interesting this was used by shahid 'boom boom' afridi in the titans cricket to devistating effect ,so the bat is match used by the man himself there are videos floating around on youtube of him using it and the noise it made !
The bat specs are 2.10 1/2 oval handle 2 chevron grips ,clear face ,there is a small split on the toe but nothing major . This is more of a collectors piece ,and a rare chance to own a bat used by one of modern crickets biggest players .
£350 posted

Matt how much better are both these bats than your standard top of the range G1 bats and what is the difference?
-
These are made from the lightest clefts available and hand picked by Azhar , Azhar is well known as being fussy about his bats i'm sure tom could verify this when was previously with mongoose .

have pm'd you Matt

On JS Wright's system they can't be G1. But then no-one uses Wright's system for selling bats.

Yer that's what I was referring to ...

What was your post referring to? I don't think Matt said what grade they were
