With Ambrose coming back into the side and scoring runs and keeping well do you think Prior will get his place back?

I hope not, he doesn't have the physical presence, you get the impression he will be terrible in the ashes

Whoops i misread the post.... i did not read the last half! My comments refer to ambrose not prior lol sorry! I want prior for the ashes

Ambrose for me is too limited ie If its short and wide and a good side ie Australia will know that and bowl according for me Prior offers more with the gloves and the bat but i would still rather have Davis or Foster as Read has ruled himself out with the ICL contract

I think Prior is the better batsmen and has worked hard at his keeping but I agree with GMHollins would much rather have Foster in. Davis is in the ODI squad so hopefully might see him in that.

Prior for me. Ambrose has one decent innings this series on a runway of a pitch! Even Ramdin made 160 on it!
Prior did well in india and he's done well in the west indies. No point talking about the other keepers really coz barring injuries i doubt they'll feature this year
