My recent post about being ripped off opened up a suggestion that I may be the Hosk of keeping gloves. So I thought I'd put my gloves on for you to see. :)
-
Well, both you and the Hosk are keepers indeed.
-
Pete has a fair few keeping gloves plus batting gloves and pads so more than bats as he has an anex devoted to kit
But nice collection
-
Thanks, I think I'm pretty amatuer at kit collecting compared to the Hosk but it's a start. Just off to empty the consevatory of furniture. lol.
-
Haha nice, good to see this!
-
Glad to inspire this post! So which are the match gloves?!
And has the Hosk ever posted pics of his glove collection does anyone know? I thought he was a dedicated willow man!

As I'm playing vets cricket next year, I would love to bring the Alan Knott slazengers out of retirement. Purchased in 1977 for £65, my first months wages. I was the bees knees in them. Just had them re faced by John Copus. We shall see, failing that it will more than likely be the SS Sundridges Gladiators.

Are the top right the 6000's?
-
No mate they're Calibre 4000 gels, still a nice glove though.
-
the two top slazenger 1's look like old classics? maybe the handy work of wymer?
-
To be honest mate I'm unsure, the slazengers are Alan Knott test that were shop bought in 1977. They do however have that Wymer style to them. The black ones on the left are a stripped down pair Bob Taylors that I am having a go at webbing.
-
Ah, im thinking about the 6000's they are shortlisted next to the GM LE's...
