He averages more in domestic t-20 than he does in FC or Domestic One day games, lol.

FC - 39.53
One day - 35.60
T20 - 45.92 after 60 innings

It's now up to 45 after today's game.

Those are very good numbers. Going on whoever's rule it was that 160 (SR + Ave) is the yardstick for T20, he must be up there as one of the best T20 players in world cricket? And plays proper cricket shots to boot!

Didn't he announce himself in the first IPL as a very capable player 4/5 yrs ago? Is he quite injury prone?

I think he's had problems with a longstanding back(?) injury?

I think he's had problems with a longstanding back(?) injury?

Might be the reason he's got a better average in T20's if he doesn't have the fitness to sustain a decent injury free run of games in FC cricket.

Yeah, and a bit of hamstring troubles too I think.

Shaun's hamstring issues are back related. He's also had a swollen disc in his lower back. Looked to be at top speed in last nights game.

i think his back problems would be hamstring related not the other way around, well they are with me sometimes and other people i know.. just read that, sorry if it seems pedantic!

I don't think we will ever know his potential, as he is an absolute tampon, that's why I struggle with keeping him in the test frame.

Hopefully, he manages a decent run of consecutive games soon.

I recall watching this live he's got something for sure, to go hit for hit with the best W/K batsman ever and that straight six is dreamy!!

Some good shots, but a lot of luck in this innings as well.

Inside edges past the stumps, dropped a few times too.
