Are all Ti grills similar weight? Or do they vary largely between brands. I have a gray nicholls Ti grill that i bought a few years back attached to my albion lid. I'm looking to get a new helmet, but obviously the good ones are very pricey. I'm thinking of just getting a masuri or albion lid from somewhere, and using my existing grill. Would I lose out on performance that much by not having a masuri or albion grill?

If i was you mate i would just get a brand new masuri Ti as if you look after them it will last you a very long time unless you get hit seriously bad and then you will have to change it.

ti grills vary in weight by alot, even in the same brand, i have an old ti22 on my albion, that is ALOT lighter then the new ti22 pro

-
Yea it really depends on the helmet. If you get a masuri it will be lighter because the grille is smaller.

-
not too sure thats true mate

-
Yes... sounds like bull, I doubt the all use identical compounds, i wouldn't think its pure Ti... Any idea which helmet is the lightest, FOR DEFINITE??

-
Masuri titaniums are the lightest. I was obviously wrong when i said size matters :-[

does anybody know if some different make titanium grills would fit my masuri?? there is a woodworm titanium grill on owzat-cricket for £35. which is around half the price i would pay elsewhere. cheers'en!

-
				gray Nichols one does

-
i believe the ti22 (old version that i have is the lightest), then masuri

You see no one knows for sure it seems
