Well I went to Barrington Sports a couple of days ago to have a look at spikes.
They only had these in a 9 and a 10, tried them on, 9 was to small 10 was to big!
And after seeing them I had my heart set on them, so I ordered them off kickbacksports the other day in a 9.5.
I said in another thread I would do a little review on them, so here goes.
Bare with me, I have never done one before!
So the spikes, first impressions are good, very nice looking spike. Maybe not for some people as they are only half spike but each to there own. They also look well made, unlike some spikes I have had in the past, these look like they will last me a fair while like my trust 22yards from about 4/5 years ago!
Eager to try them I nipped upstairs and got some cricket socks and slipped them on!
Comfort wise, i think they are very good, seem to kind of hug the foot well (if that makes sense).
I took the spikes out and continued to wonder around the house in them, they seem to be very very comfy indeed, obviously i cannot say how comfy as I haven't worn them in a game, but first impressions are looking good, and i can't to get out and try them. I think i would definitely recommend them to people, especially with the decent price kickbacksports have them for at the moment!
Very good value for money at £45 I will get pictures later on, but Dad has gone taking pictures of wildlife with the camera today. So it won't be until later on!

I got mine Christmas day and love um
-
They look good, especially for £45.
Not too sure about the new 22yrd Lo though. My eyes!
-
They are very good indeed, although they have made me want to play even more now!
-
Good review mate, I am getting a pair of these in the next couple of weeks hopefully
-
Cheers for the feedback mate, wasn't really sure what to put!
Like I said about, would definitely recommend!
-
Thanks for putting this up btw, are they lighter than the Asics Gel Advance 4's?
-
I'm not sure on weight mate.
But they light, I shall weigh them if i get a chance mate.

Those are batting boots Tom ;)
-
Haha, what you trying to say?
I've always worn half spikes even for bowling!
-
I've only last year stopped wearing bowling boots let alone half spike
I'm clinging to the past
-
Ah right!
Don't need full spikes for what I bowl haha
-
Nor me now a days
-
Thanks mate. Really interested in these but it's these or the asics
-
If you can, try them both on.
It's all down to personal preference, and the asics may fit better for you!
-
wilkie113 mate have you used these by any chance?
Class shoes, they are amazing!
-
I haven't had a chance yet mate.
I had the spikes out and have been walking around in the house and stuff in them.
Also tried pads on and things with them on, (because I'm fussy about things fitting)
They feel lovely mate, would honestly recommend them.
Very comfy, and once you wear them in properly they are even nicer.
-
What are you? Batsman?
They look sheer class, probably best looking imho.
-
Leg spinner/middle-lower order.
I have always played in half spikes though, as I trip over when I have spikes in the back
(dont have a clue as to why i do)
They are the best looking Adidas spikes I have seen for a while too!
