Apparently (and i mean apparently, as I don't know) he asked for a sponsorship deal of 750k so Slaz told him to take a long walk off a short pier!!

I think there is an interesting discussion in the India vs Australia thread but then again one has to shift a lot of rubble to get to that.

@H4L-- you are slow mate: Blankbats already got him, at least for this test match  :D

one day i would just like to see ,just one, top pro who is out of contract use a really small batmaker and when the TV asks him which bat he is using give a massive plug for a really small manufacturer.....just for once i'd love to see it...... :)

"apparently" Kookaburra offered 250K. GN have a new bat for the 2012/13 season which will have 61mm spine and will be named so(like e41 with 41mm edges). So maybe he will be showcasing this bat during the summer. I will get more info as of next month when the retailers take a trip to melbourne for there annual get together at GM HQ.

They were founded in 1954 and have been in Australia since 2000. I think they'll be right seeing as they are also in the NRL, Soccer, Netball and Boxing markets.

In saying that though, they will have to sell their cricket gear, otherwise it will be an unsuccessful venture. I don't see them being near the likes of GN or GM, yet their gear prices are almost the same, which is just ridiculous. I do like the look of Clarke's pads though.
