Title: Cenkos Comeptitor?
Post by: junter97 on January 05, 2012, 08:53:23 PM
Comeptitor the the Newberry Cenkos perhaps, definitely more appealing to me because if price. http://www.cricketinsight.co.uk/2011/12/29/new-from-black-cat-cricket-the-f40-bat/

What are your thoughts?

Not really a competitor. More a competitor to the players model or a GN legend.
The GN Captains experiance is more of a competitor to the Cenkos.

Interesting thoughts, how come you don't think it's a competitor? I think it's a massive competitor, at least 2 times cheaper, yet the same exclusivity as the Cenkos.

Lovely stuff but why not put the Phantom and the F40 stickers on affordable grade 2/3 bats? Do we need more outrageously priced bats over £400?

I think it's because black cat pride themselves on focusing on the top end of the market with their normal profiled bats

The Rolls Royce of cricket bats, named after a legendary Ferrari :L

Stickers need to be Rosso Corsa with the Scuderia emblem ;)

Black Cat Facebook Competition-

Competition on the way to win a Phantom-might as well enter, totally free, and you can't win if you don't enter!

First of all though, the Phantom status update needs 75 likes, but if you're in a particularly good mood, give it a 'like' then hit the 'share' button.

Cheers

Could argue Newberry produce more bats and therefore would have more examples of the highest quality willow. This is a lovely looking bat but I still find it difficult to pay £400+ for a bat that is priced that way for its stickers.

Just my 2 penny's worth
