Hi fellow forumers
i thought a formal introduction is needed so here we go.
Team blank bats comprises of myself (Canners) and Tai (100no).
We had a little get together and agreed we were sick of spending a small fortune on bats each season, we totalled up between what we were spending and to be quite frank it was getting ridiculous. We also discussed how bat prices were growing out of control because of branding and stickers, and came to the conclusion that a new type of bat was needed in the market. The best bats available without the cost of funding the branding and stickers hence team 'blankbats' was born. Both of us are experienced bat buyers and we both feel we know our bats and what makes a good bat.
so here we are bringing you the best bats at the best prices........
One of the reasons Blank Bats can bring you these bats at such heavily discounted prices is because we have agreed contractually not to name our master batmaker. The batmaker is a world reknowned batmaker, based in the South of England. He makes for numerous brands and players and is regarded by many as the best in the world. You may be able to guess who it is, and we can guarentee you won't be disappointed once you receive your BlankBat. At a saving of 50% off other brands RRP's it's not a surprise they want to keep it a secret!"

We certainly do get a very raw deal. I'm waiting for you guys to do a bat with a mid-high middle, then I'm sure you'll hear from me in a heart beat.

Could always get one custom made Rob..? ;)

Are you saying I'm a serial poster or something lol
-
good luck- if someone scores a hundred against me with a 'blank bat', how will this lead me to buying one off you?

When they share their jug with you in the bar afterwards..and you get into conversation about the provenance of their bat... ;)

It's a nice thought, but in reality I'm not sure...
There is a reason every single bat manufacturer/brand in the world applies stickers to their bats- the bats themselves are free advertising for the brand! Most stickers aren't particularly nice, and unbranded bats look better, but everyone still does it...
Imagine the most amazing car ever, that doesn't have the manufacturer's name/logo anywhere, some people will ask the owner in a car park, most however will never know what that car was...
-
How much is the concaving in those jugs Johan? ;)
-
Charlie
You make some valid points. There's something in the pipeline to address this anomaly.
-
BB branding on the edges? Get it stamped in :)

It was merely in jest Charlie :) - I am sure that it will be addressed at some point. At the moment, it looks like BB are targeting the forum market alone. In terms of expansion, a way of signifying the bat will no doubt become essential.

Something like that maybe.

0 days, 19 hours, and 5 minutes until the websites launched :)

Actually if someone smashed a ton against us the first question would be what the hell is that bat mate?
I like the blank bat idea as nobody I know uses a blank bat but would agree with Johan on the edge branding.

dont go giving any of my ideas away ;)

Then the bat wouldn't be blank anymore...
-
True. But it will be minimal.
-
Does BB make junior bats?? ???

You don't know the half of it...
