Title: Middling bats
Post by: Canners on January 09, 2012, 11:23:50 PM: Having used one of these last week and getting on very well with it, I was wondering if anyone has used one out in the middle in a match situation? I am planning on using one in a Sunday game next season, and propose we have a comp on here to see who can get the highest score using one of these next season?

What you reckon guys?

I see your point, takes a confident batsman to do it tho albeit a stupid one lol

sunday games are all about having a laugh! so no reason why not.

I do it not cos i have the ablility to use one but just the fact i am stupid and will do anything for a laugh lol

am sure many people get ducks with a normal bat so it can only give u more respect lol

Knocking it in at the moment. Needs a surprisingly fair amount (judging by the mallet dimples on the face!) I imagine that when I hit the ball with it it is really going to fly.

If you middle one with a middling bat, it will fly!

I have thought of it myself to be honest...not for a laugh, but to seriously crack some boundaries with teh ultra fast bat speed and the thumping great middle.

I think it is an excellent idea for playing mid-week T20 Last Man Stands cricket!

In varying weights and £25. The back was painted white but the face actually had some nice clean grains. They came with mini kahuna stickers in them and a full length scuff sheet

Then went into the town to get money and have a look around, went back to get pads and forgot about the middling bat!

Kashmir willow but reasonable price. can pick the weight ranges aswell
