As the title says, which international players (from all around the world) would you like to see in one team?
I'll start for me firstly it would be Shoaib Akhtar, Brett Lee and Shaun Tait, I wish they three at there peak played together in a team, that bowling attack would murder any opposition.
Secondly would be Sir Viv Richards, Shahid Afridi, Virendar Sehwag and Adam Gilchrist
-
Gayle and Trescothick opening partnership........'nuff said!
-
The latter is still possible - it all depends on who Somerset decide to get as their overseas player.
-
God, that would be an opening partnership I would travel a long way to watch.... :)
-
Taunton isn't big enough for most batsman, Gayle would be clearing the church and beyond lol.
-
Warne and murali would be a challenge
Sobers and Lara
Botham and Freddie for after match with warne if an ashes
Will think of more
-
Tendulkar and bradman
-
A bit far fetched but who cares:
The batters and the keeper:
Bradman (just to see him play again)
I.V.A Richards
Tendulkar
Lara
Graeme Pollock
Gilchrist
Sobers
Bowlers and all-rounders:
Wasim Akram
Shane Warne
Marshall
Lillee
Botham
-
Another';
Brain Charles Lara, Inzamam Ul Haq, Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Don Bradman
-
Merv Hughes and Sreesanth :)

Ha ha Like!! I wonder what will happen....
-
I would have liked to play against: Shane Warne, Shoib Akhtar, Glen Mgrath, Bret Lee, Gul
I would have loved to play with: Imran Khan, Brian C Lara, M. Ramprakash, Viru, MSD, Shahid Afridi, KP, AB De Villiers
-
Inzaman and gayle just for the running or lack of
An attack of thompson(before injury) Roberts Marshall murali warne get that away
Colly and Rhodes for fielding contest
-
Trescothick and Hayden would be good
-

They've got Philander for first part of season, then van Der Merwe and Pollard for T20. Then RVDM for rest of season
-
Decent signing is Philander.
-
me and fattus.

Me and Simmy

boo hooo

Not so much guys I'd like to have seen play together as guys I'd like to have seen play each other. Would have loved to see Sir Viv bat against Freddie Trueman - partly because they are both heroes of mine, but mostly because it would be an intriguing battle of egos. For different reasons would love to have seen Sir Viv bat against Brett Lee...at that pace, the ball would have flown FOREVER!
Another one that springs to mind - Steve Waugh batting against the classic Four Horsemen era West Indies attack!
-

Gayle has signed as Somerset's overseas player... Guess you're gonna have to do a fair bit of travelling now!

Hadn't really wished it before I saw it but Chris Gayle and Ahmed Shehzad opening for Barisal is an absolute treat!
-
dravid and boycott would be a good one howver mindblowingly dull or tendulkar and lara
-
Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Dale Steyn.
BOOM!
-
Dravid, Steyn and Collingwood.
-
Hmm how abt a team that had!!
Gayle, Warner, Dravid, Tendulkar, Lara, S Waugh (c), Shewag, Gilchirst, Holding, Ambrose, Donald, Akram
Vs
Viv Richards, Hayden, Bradman, Ponting, Larwood, Warne, Mcgrath, Healy/Russel, Botham, Waqar, Styen
-
Gavaskar, Boycott, Dravid, Cook, Ali, Brearley (C), Boucher, Anderson, Panesar, Chris Martin, Pommie Mbangwa. Runs would be scored, very, very slowly and I think it is very unlikely the tail would add much.

Bit harsh on Boucher, the guy scores runs and at a decent click as well...

I needed a keeper and he was the first one who came to mind.
-
I'd love to have seen sir Vic and Gayle at either end in an odi innings...
-
Rob Key and Graham Gooch.
