Prices aren't overly expensive - normal retail so a scoop is £155.

So do you guys have cricket shops like this in every stadium?
-
Pretty much in all the bigger ones.

Yup. Only been to the Oval, Lord's and Headingley and they all have a shop.
-
Trent bridge and old Trafford do too
-
Most county grounds have a local outlet on site too
-
Me likey, the wall facing towards the counter was pads and gloves last time i was there, good change :)
-
Think I will have a nosey on Sat!
Trent bridge shop is tiny and not much gear in there, or there wasn't last season.
-
Essex county ground shop is one of the worst ever!! Great if you want to buy badges, floppy hats and stationary.
Mate of mine got a HUGE GN made while at Lords last year by a batmaker showing his trade at a test match
-
The shop at edgbaston is awful for equipment!
-
That looks like a seriously tidy shop.....
Did you buy anything Tim?

Sadly only a cricket ball for the net session. 10% off for anyone netting though.
-
Nooooooo! Not a new ball for nets - hate facing that!

Especially when you consider how much it swings and how bouncy it is. Bowled a lovely bouncer that got big quick...
-
More worried about bat breakage than swing and bounce to be honest!
-
Glamorgan's is okay. Gloucestershire's has Redbacks iirc.
No Slazenger, Tim?
-
Do clubs not provide 'net' balls for practice? Old match balls etc?

I know that feeling!
I've asked many bowlers to change to an old ball before,

No. In stock were GN, Puma, Newbery, Mongoose, loads of Kook, GM and Nike from what I recall.

Sadly, the guy who runs that side of things forgot the balls.
-
Somerset is decent. You got Somerset County Sports shop which stocks a lot of gear. Then Millichamp and Hall round the back!
-
Sussex isn't too shabby either.
-
I was chatting to the girl in the shop about the scoops. She said "Didn't Brian Lara use one?" at which point I got all scoop nerdy. I think she thought it was funny.
-
...but was she fit?

First thing I wondered. Wouldn't it be nice if cricketing knowledge would work wonders on women.
