Title: bat prices.
Post by: ProWannabe88 on February 02, 2012, 11:55:38 PM
After reading the overrated topic today and seeing what others and myself have posted I couldn't help but think.... In an ideal world, where players weren't paid and profits didn't have to be so great what would be an appropriate price for a top bat?? Omif every brand had to charge the same regardless of who, how or where they were made?? I find it quite intriguing. I remember getting bats from Warrior and they were al priced at £100 to £120 but none were labeled with a price. Richard just used to know.the better ones he had made and charged accordingly. Long gone have those days now.

I know. Not that I'm complaining mind. Were lucky enough to get some steals on here and of that I have no doubt. It makes me wonder how many brands would still be around and if brand hype was non existent how would ppl choose their brand of equipment. Probably on looks alone mainly.

i remember back in 1998 before i left for Singapore, i was astounded that a mjolnir cost 120 pounds in the shops, everything else top of the range was under 100, cost of living hasn't trippled in 14 years
