Post by: lazza32 on February 05, 2012, 02:43:45 AM
Anyone used one of these? I was wondering the pickup, middle placement and general finishing of this bat.

I haven't used one, but picked one up, and it felt very nice, fairly mid middled bat and as with all newbery's the finishing is superb

according to Neil Lenham it's tendulkar style bat with a rounded back no concaving, so i imagine it will be quite like my BAS

they are funny shaped bats, the back is a dome with ni defined spine.
given they are a keeley pressed and designed bat, they are likely to be good.
the ones I have seen were the prettiest and it isn't a shape I go for, but it will score you runs. it better do for the price

Agree with buzz's statement above. Picked this up at lords and the profile is very odd as it has no spine and a hefty price tag!

Wouldn't have me reaching for my pocket over other bats in the range but horses for courses I guess.

I have a bat here in a similar shape and and is weird with no spine but sooooo much wood left in that you feel like ball will go from anywhere on bat
