Title: Advice on the Shoulders and Looking for a drawknife
Post by: scottish_slogger95 on February 12, 2012, 02:25:53 PM
Hi guys soon I will be getting a cleft and embark on making my first bat. I was hoping to achieve a light bat without taking a lot out the middle so I thought about doing a newbery TT style and cutting the shoulders of the bat to reduce the weight. Has anyone felt a newbery TT if so what did it feel like? Would you advise it or does it feel uncomfortable?

I am also looking to purchase a drawknife with a budget of 30 pounds
