Title: Aero KPR inners
Post by: Dan W on February 13, 2012, 12:04:14 AM
Has anyone tried these?

They're pretty rare in shops, is this because they're popular (and undersupplied) or not (and no retailers want them)?!

Does anyone know how they size up?I'm probably somewhere between a medium and a large, though I suppose having 'regular' WK gloves I should go for the medium?

Pretty sure a few of the lads on here have a post on them. peplow did a review I think. Try the search engine mate, there's definitely something on these.

I have a set, rate them highly. Prefered them to the puma half chamois.

If you have long fingers then go for the large.

My brother started using these at the start of last season and he ended the season without breaking his finger which has become a bit of a tradition! He did have to move from a 'shortie' style glove to more of a big gauntlet as they are quite bulky but he swears by them and his hand surgeon (yes, he has his own hand surgeon!) reckons they are easily the most protective inners he has seen....

Tried these on at the weekend, protection looks good enough, fit not great but no worse than the normal WK glove....All looking good, until I tried to actually put my WK glove on over the top...It took about 5 mins to get it on properly! They are so bulky! I assume there's a 'knack' you learn in time, but it was such a glaring design error I was pretty shocked!

You get used to them after a while. The inners are difficult to get back into your gloves because they are so grippy. Taking them off is no problem.

As they were selling so well, we made a point of stocking up quite a lot the last time I went back to Aero, so yes, quite a few left: small, medium or large?

We've actually recorded a youtube video on them, due for upload on our channel any day now.  Some people I've spoken to think they're a little on the big side, so not the best fitting with some wicket keeping gloves, but in terms of comfort and protection for an inner, they can't be bettered in my opinion...

I have basically normal size hands, so should I take small or medium? I want a tight fit. Is there a special price for forum members? There are a few items I have my eye on if I can sell my bits n pieces in the sale section :)

Go with small

I would say go with medium. I have average size hands and my mediums are tight fitting.

Well, we had a customer order a medium sizedd pair last week and he ended up exchanging it for the small! The smalls measure 24cm from top to bottom as well, so not a typical small really...

As for the special price, we won't move on the £18.99 cost, but might be able to do something on delivery - PM me and we'll discuss it in more detail.
