I think the guy sells handles also so you might be in luck. I would get more opinions on board first before you buy it as I don't know to much about tools. But it looks like it would do con-caving

I think any steeper than No.3 might be too much. I just made a concaving tool out of an old coffin plane like somone else on the forum did. I've test fired it on pine and it looks like it's worked. Travishers are the right shape but as I understand it they are more for shaving across the grain. Chair makers seems to use them for making those little dents for your bum to nestle into!

never tried using a concave spokeshave before.

Hopefully picking up a couple of handled clefts from H4L in a couple of weeks after test firing my prototype tonight at first club nets of the year. Really happy with the results and can't wait to get my hands on more willow!
