Title: P2 Strippers..Are they worth the money?
Post by: FvanN on February 25, 2012, 10:35:14 AM: Well i am still having a hard time trying to sort out my thigh pads and just wanted to know if the P2 strippers are worth the £34 price tag? So far im leaning towards a set of shamrock pads..

Yes. They are far better than any other thigh pad in my opinion. You can actually bat in them without having to adjust your whole technique.

Post by: Spanky on February 25, 2012, 10:45:29 AM: Personally I'm a big fan of them, I have a set of the original design and the newer version are even better to having a slightly larger inner thigh pad. Am soon to buy a new set as mine are starting to show their age.

For me they get rid of all the hassle that you get with regular thigh pads with straps moving around and strecting over time.

In first outing you might not like them but once you get over that phase they are amazing

Tried the P2's for a net session and love them!

Outside in nets, obviously inside in games.

That is correct, I got a used pair to try in size med and while they fit really really well I am going to order a size small for the glove like fit, great pads thou..

If you have smallish or normal thighs,they fit snug and nice, but if you have thicker thighs, you will find that it doesn't cover up some areas compared to normal ones.I am using the small sized one at the moment.

Been struggling to get a thigh pad that fits properly and isn't a ball ache for a while now.
Picked some up off here all be it P1's and not the P2's your after. But they are excellent IMO.

Thanks where I got mine too! Ordered on Saturday about 8pm arrived Tuesday 9.00am!
Not sure if they are the V6's though as they don't have it written on them!

Anyone know what the differances are between V5 and V6?
