what do you guys think?
-
You look at photos too minutely?
Seriously though, looks a lovely bat - do you count JM's suggested number of grains on that face?
-
why would he have a 2000 bat and then have 5000 gloves? must be a wrong sticker - plus the calibre 2000 has the fake grain sheet added with a horrible white painted back!!
-
maybe its the fact its not actually a puma and he needed stickers to go on it? Definately not a 2000 grade bat with grains like that.
-
Yeah, toe is too square to be a puma unless someone other than rob makes the pumas for overseas players.
-
It might be a custom request to have the square toe..i am assuming pro can get shapes/changes made as per their spec...also the grip is not puma unless it a version that i am not aware of, look the grip on puma in this thread...

I also want that grip! Puma style in chevron!

Are pumas even any good?

Are pumas even any good?
I think they are, just got a used iridium from Opener and that is great. Have a new calibre 3000 sitting at home that sounds good off the mallet but is for sale(was sent as a mistake), and then have another one (Calibre 5000, mistake resolution) coming in which i think is going to be good..but i am biased towards all puma gear, love the brand.
-
Yeah they are, just make sure you get a 5000 or 6000 version though. Then your guaranteed a top bat. After all they are made by rob pack so you know your getting a good stick!

I have several Pumas which are all top notch but are all 5000/6000 willow so you'd hope they're decent!
Have known a couple of people with 3000/4000 Pumas who are more than happy with how they play too!!
