Yes Johnny, Since last year i have been planning to add M&H brand  to our shop but got too busy with our customised clothing so i didn't get time. Today i had to meet up with a customer(who has given us big clothing order) in Somerset area so I arranged it with M&H guys and they were happy to save few good bats for me to look at.
Lets see How the M&H brand goes

I need to have a look around the shop sometime.

I fear I'd need to leave the plastic at home and just take cash though, otherwise the bank wouldn't be to pleased haha

I'm already on waitlist for softs Sherpa (just pads though) so you'll be after me ;-).

Asad said pads are out of stock at M&H but they are getting in 10 or so days

Hahaha LOL!

I think I'm younger than you, I'm 21 mate :D

I already got gloves off Nathan on this forum so Asad picked up a bag for me today and pads were on list but they were out of stock :(

I have been looking at there website and the pads have been sold out for past month or so :( :(

I have heard those pads are world beater, let's see when they turn up :)

yeah ,can't quite make my mind up about the knee rolls though, was possibly considering the model down instead, a bit more traditional

The pads are great. I love the look of them and they feel as sturdy as anything.

There's probably lighter ones around, but the vertical knee roll makes a lot of sense and they fit the leg very well.

Hmm from pictures the knee roll seem to be just like another one, quite similar to your SS and Salix no?

The  BAS bats which I have prepared for you have unbelievable ping, and I am sure you will love them when you receive them.

My, erm, hand was forced as I had to have large gloves and pads so chose the distinction soft, but I think they're great. They might be bulky, though I've always found gives bulky and don't find they hinder my grip at all.

Plus they're simply In a class of their own looks wise!

Are you going to be stocking the M+H Original bats Asad? You've got some quality willow there, I expect that the rest will be just as good!

Personally I don't find the gloves very bulky.

are we saying that the distinction stuff comes up on the large size ... might not suit my hobbit like frame if that's the case.  anyone able to give me a comparison .. i find SS LE / newbery SPS spot on but the top hat kooks a little on the tall side , i reckon there's an inch of difference between them.  Asad i'm leaning towards the Alpha range being my preference on pads and gloves
Title: Re: Visit to M&H
Post by: Cover_Drive on March 07, 2012, 03:08:03 AM
If you have small hands then Distinction gloves might be inch or two longer for you (similar to Puma Calibre Tricks LE gloves fitting etc).

I haven't seen or worn Distinction pads yet so can't comment on them yet.

glove wise i'm pretty ok with any standard sizing, it's more the pads i'm worried about.  The puma's are a little full in size and come up a little loose around my hands but not so they'd affect my grip
