Had the chance to try on CA's new 15000 batting gloves and all I can say is buy 'em if you get the chance! They were wonderfully soft with Pittards on the inside and oh so flexible. Granted, I can't vouch for the protection but they seem more than adequate.
Best thing about them is that they were $50! A steal if you ask me, in fact I would have picked them up if I had the change.
Anyhow, some photos for you lot :)

Saw them on Kijiji, was tempted to buy one pair to be honest
They do look impressive and they have pittards now which is even great!
With pittards at $50 they are steal indeed
$50 = 30ish quids UK boys :D

Nice gloves. Where did you locate it Riz?
-
My mate runs a small equipment shop and recently got these in from CA. Apparently he's the first in North America to get them!

Ah, I actually wanted to share the details but didn't want to seem like I was promoting someone where I shouldn't be. Nonetheless, his shop is called Cricket Store Canada and he's on Facebook at the moment.

Look nice. Assume not available in the UK yet? And would probably be a lot more expensive?!
-
Anyone know if these are available in the UK yet?
-
Your best bet would be Asad, he might be getting some in.

Asad you going to give us a bit more of a clue? ???
Do you have them in stock? If not when do you think you may be getting them in? Any idea on price? :D
-
Maybe you can contact Sialkot Shop if you want them immediately, I'm sure they might have them because they are based in Sialkot.
-
Are these made in India now as I've never seen decent softs from CA, had the Plus 12000 and dreadful.
-
I can't think of CA softs being made in India.
Let me get my hands on a pair and see lol
-
I only ask as Boom Boom switched everything to India bar the lower end bats.

They are on order, not sure about the price at the moment
These are definitely made in Pakistan

Yes, but Boom Boom label themselves as British brand (not Pakistani brand)
-
Thye do now, but were set up with the Pakistani ex pat's in mind.
-
Yup, the owner/president is from Pakistan (Peshawar if I remember correctly)
-
I inquired about them and they are like £15 in Pakistan

Welcome to CBF SS :) Great to see you here, I hope you enjoy your stay here.
Anyways, these have genuine pittards while those don't, however, I find velcro strap (where branding goes) better on TRD than these.

Have we pictures of the palms?

Not seen that style before, does it say what style on the swingtag?
-
It says WR100X.
To me palm is same as on 2011 Puma Kinetic 5000 gloves but CA has more linear type of dots/holes while Puma ones are scattered.

Thanx..... :)........
But I do have 1 Q. for you.....Why don't you come in ......... anymore?
-
IS it just me or do the look a bit like GM gloves?
And the palm side it too green, but look good for the price considering the pittards (not english pittards?)
-
I think I've only seen the Pittards (Pittards is only ever English) on a swatch sheet I was given, it's quite thin if I recall correctly.

The pittards I have seen on gloves like CA 15000 Plus, 2011 Puma Kinetic 5000, Redback Gloves, Hell4Leather LE gloves et cetra all have WR100X which I find quite thick layer compared to Salix Pod Black's palm.
-
WR100X is simply the waterproofing, the textured cut is one I've not seen before in a cricket palm, the Cougar is the name of the small random pin pricks holes commonly seen.

These gloves look different to the ones on the ca website, on their website they are more sausage style

-
Apparently the website ones are newer model, something like that.

They look really ugly... :o

CA claim these to be genuine Pittards as opposed to patterns copied like they were by Ihsan. Seem to be nice gloves, they have not yet hit the local market.
