my little brothers birthday is coming up and he wants an english willow bat as his used kashmir all his life , his keen on GM so i thought i wouldnt go too high but something thats still english willow.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Got to admit the 505 false grains looks very good.
-
just wondering about the fake grains , can GM control how much grains there going to put on each bat seeing as there printed ?
-
One print only, looks good but not 20 grains.
-
I can see a market for fake grain scuff sheets with 20 ruler straight grains being snapped up by forum members ;)
-
i just hate them sheets and grays ones with them sheets on and the white backs errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sorry guys rant over
-
theres a 505 plus isnt there , wouldnt mind that myself in the 808 range
-
I had/have a 606 from 2005, 14 straight grains massive butterfly knot lol. Go for a 606 out of all of them
-
butterfly knot????

Stain* watching Friends at the same time, can't multi-task
-
we blokes we dont mate lol ;)

All the same grade of willow, just depends how clean the grains are. 606 should be the best but no harm in knocking up some 404/505's as well, see if one sounds better off a mallet. I've seen 15 grain 404's that could easily pass for 707's. Bleaching and fake grains sheets are akin to fraud in my book - attempting to hide something from the consumer. All bats should shown in there original form.

unreal what some do to get rid or stains and marks i love butterfly willow

anyone know where these are sold??

GM don't make one according to the website - would be a very interesting proposition. A cheap bat with a big (but heavy) profile.

I took a trip down to Taunton today, to which the first bat I saw was a Catalyst Original! Sorry, thought I'd share that on this post :)

Thought the lowest model of + was the 707+?
-
well in australia i saw the 808+ at the greg chappel cricket centre yeah i was curious as to whether there was a 505+
might get a 606 for him anyway now
