Title: Networking
Post by: garethjakebull on March 12, 2012, 04:25:30 PM
Hi Guys,

I'm a pretty keen local networker promoting and referring business locally for my work.

I've also picked up a nice amount of business from here as well as our company works well with Cricket.

However, I was thinking today if we all stated what each other does (day job) on the forum, it would be a better place not just for Cricket and a good hub.

After all, we all like to use people we trust...And if I'm putting business someones way off the forum, I'm sure they'd go the extra mile and that means we all win!

Yes we don't want people promoting things too much but would be interesting and very useful.

Thoughts?

Gareth

You maybe right, but I think this should be a new section and let's keep it busy.

If anyone needs a local plumber etc, people could post it up and you never know!

This climate, everyone needs someone they can trust.

The websites are:

I have two jobs.

My main role is as a buyer for a global food ingredients company. I travel a lot, visiting food producers and factories all over the place. I am also an SAP systems trainer for procurement.

My secondary role is in sales, i'm the account manager for a by-product of the milling industry which I sell into animal feed compounders.

Neither of these are very crickety or particularly glamorous ;)
