Title: Gunn & Moore + bats
Post by: tushar sehgal on March 15, 2012, 06:55:35 PM
Alright last question of the day..was watching online video review of GM + bats and noticed something mentioned by the retailer that he thinks + bats are pressed differently than the regular bats...is that true...

The + just stands for the bigger edge/profile version. I believe they are all pressed the same

hmm ok coz he is claiming that + bats were better pinging then normal, even 505+ was better than 909/ original non plus model...could that be simply due to the mass/amount of wood in the + bats? or is just all sales

Yeah, it's just because more wood behind the ball = better bat response.

Hi -

I can confirm GM+ bats are pressed exactly the same as standard.

Thank Dr. Bacon, it is good to hear directly from you and Perkins, there are a few theories around and this puts them to rest.
