Post by: StandUpKeeps on March 15, 2012, 08:02:09 PM
Hello people,

Just that i am looking to get one of the thinner training bats, to help me improve my batting,
and i just wondered which of these you may have tried before or if you have any other suggestions...

Recently looked at:
- Readers Shadow Coaching Bat
- Eye In Trainer Bat
- Gray Nicolls Technique Bat

Thanks, any responce will be very much appreciated :)

Hi Mate

I have a few in stock at the moment if you are interested. They are natural faced bats unlike most which are painted or covered in some way

I agree, never get why people spend a lot of money on these. CJI do a good one and it's available in a variety of weights. http://www.cjicricket.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=66&category_id=19&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=228

You should get one if you can find a clone of your match bat in weight and balance.

I have been netting a fair bit with one of these training bats and I'm starting to think I play better with the training bat, mind you the profile is pretty impressive

I think the training bat makes you play a tad later and watch the ball onto the bat which is always a good thing
