Went to the local cricket shop in search of new pads for 2009.... they had absolutely everything and me being me I tried absolutely everything but kept getting drawn back to these Ponting Kahuna's.
They are lovely and light but offer extremely good protection! Had a net in them yesterday and in all honesty you hardly knew you were hit on them! Lookswise they look better on you than they do off and I have to admit I could not be happier with them.
Could I tell they were very expensive pads YES! are they really worth the money..... well probably NO because how can anyone really justify basically £90.00 on a pair of pads.... but in comparison with the pads I tried I did like them the most and some of the other pairs were £70-£80 so in that sense I dont feel so hard done by.

Nice looking pads.
If you want batting gloves to go with them, I have a BN pair of RP Kahuna RH Mens gloves (the ones with Pittard palms). £45posted

They are nice pads! They are basically the same design as the Sub Zeros imo. I have the sub zero's and they are lush to. Also i like the wing huge aswell :P
