Title: Sample Profile...2.9 with 35mm Edges
Post by: Ayrtek Cricket on March 20, 2012, 12:10:20 PM
Had this in as a sample profile to look at and seems very nice. Plenty of wood behind the middle of it and a lovely oval handle that is thicker at the base than the top.

10 grains and a cheeky strip of heartwood for a RH batsman.

What do people make of the profile? Feedback would be appreciated :)

Think it's that the bat has been photographed at a slight angle. Like the shape btw, but needs a thicker toe.

its got some shape to it thats for sure, as i have just said of Twitter to Tomgoose and CBF's mystery twittererer the toe is 15mm thick which is the same as our other profile bats but the squarer finish make make it appear thinner.

Looks (and dimensions sound) like it's a very similar shape to the Mongoose ToRQ

Ah right, iv only seen a few at Lords on the stand but didnt pay much attention to the detail in terms of size etc.

Certainly lends itself to giving a big bat size with a reasonably light weight finish to it.

No disrespect Tom, but what's different compared to the current profile? Looks similar to me

Bit more concaving throughout the bat meaning a larger volume of wood behind the middle..as I say only a trial to see how well received it is (or not) as the case may be.
